Felix & Joyce / Hong Kong
This was really a pre-wedding session that got me glued to the Hong Kong Observatory website – it was typhoon season. This was just a week after Typhoon Hato’s destruction and we were told that Typhoon Mawar might be coming our way. It started with a heavy drizzle, which doesn’t help our cause at all as our first stop was the completely opened Tai Mo Shan which offers no shelter whatsoever, but in the end we had fairly good weather throughout the shoot. We even had bright sunshine at Tai Mo Shan immediately right after the dreary weather. All in all, it was a really fun shoot with an equally outgoing couple. We discovered new places, some iconic, some lesser known and re-visited old ones. Finally, I can tick off Tai Mo Shan from my bucket list. It was a place that has always been at the back of my mind but for some reason, it somehow never happened in my previous shoots. So, I’m glad it did this time in round.
