Zuo Yi & Sophia

I’ve been less than diligent with blog updates and I thought I’ll get the ball rolling again with scenes from Zuo Yi & Sophia’s wedding. This was actually taken quite a few months back but it was significant to me in a very strange way. I had a very bad bout of food poisoning the night before their wedding which kept me awake and extremely dehydrated for the entire night. Somehow or other, I still managed to pick myself up and head over to the wedding and it was as if the food poisoning episode never happened at all. One might call this mind over matter or something to the effect of “in the zone” but in truth, there wasn’t much of a choice for me. I heard that’s how some performers do it too. Once they are on stage, whatever pain is all momentarily forgotten.
