Over the course of my career as a wedding photographer and just when you thought you’ve seen it all and done it all, something happens along the way that changes your perspective of things and gives you new meaning to something you thought you’ve known all along. What started as a casual cup of coffee and some random photos of Sun Yan Zi taken in Prague blossomed into a friendship which in many ways redefines the very notion of what it means to me as a wedding photographer and more importantly simply as a person whose role is to record memories that could momentarily stall time. Indeed, fate has taken a curious delight in surprising me in ways I hardly expected….but I’m glad it did.
