New products for 2009

A new year marks a new beginning. We keep things that have been outstanding, improve things that could have been done better and discard things that were obviously not working. We have a new range of unique offerings mainly for the FineArt signature range of products to usher this ox-picious new year.

Hahnemuhle Daguerre Canvas
We have been using the Brillance Chromata Canvas for the longest time and we must say that it has been nothing short of excellent so far. This year, we will be offering Hahnemuhle’s very own fine art canvas The Daguerre (pronounced Da Gay-rr), named after French artist Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre who invented a very unique photography processing technique known as daguerretype. The Daguerre Canvas is a 400gsm fine art poly-cotton bright white canvas perfect for photographic reproduction for both color and monochrome images. Brilliant colors and punchy contrast. You really need to see it for yourself.

If you’re a movie buff, this is an absolutely must have! Looks best when printed on Hahnemuhle Daguerre Canvas and do print it really big!

Wide FineArt PhotoBook album
Not exactly a new product but a variation of the all-time favorite FineArt PhotoBook from our Signature series range. The FineArt PhotoBook has gone cinematic with the all-new wide version of the all-time popular square album. So, if you like the cinematic feel that we have been so famous for, the Wide FineArt PhotoBook would be simply perfect. Now, all your photos would be just like in the movies – 16×9 cinema wide format.

Instant Print
We introduced this service since last quarter of 2008. But we thought we should mention this again as we foresee this service getting more and more popular as wedding couples are looking for more ways to inject more fun to their weddings. The Instant Print service is is a joint venture brought to you by thegaleria and Pixels N Pictures. Starts from $1,500.

Laptop skins
We did a soft launch for this product sometime in November 2008 but we thought we’ll mention it again as we might have another offerring aside from laptop skins – PSP & iPhone skins. With a small minimum order quantity of just 20, it’s easy to see why we think this would be a popular wedding favour. After all, almost every other person that we know has either a PSP, iphone or a laptop.
