Tom & Emily at Hampshire

I’ve documented many English weddings in the past, but this is by far my first real English wedding on English soil. It was a completely different experience for me and being able to learn cultures of different people has been something I’ve always found fascinating, not to mention that the wedding venues are amazingly gorgeous. Tom & Emily’s wedding ceremony was held at St Margaret Chuch at East Wellow, the final resting place of Florence Nightingale. The reception venue was equally breathtaking, held at the grounds of Broadlands Estate, the home of Lord Mountbatten.

Tom & Emily, if you’re reading this, thanks for having me at your wedding and although you’re always seeing me working, carrying my two cameras around taking photos of everyone and everything, I would like you to know that I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. And seeing your photos and how happy everybody were makes me glad that I’ve flown 6,000 miles for this. I’m so delighted that my first English wedding on English soil has been so beautifully documented, much better than I’ve imagined. And yes, I can still hear Tom making a speech.
