Brian is a creative wedding photographer in singapore specializing in artictic wedding photography taken exclusively in natural lighting. Much of Brian's works are influenced by cinema works of filmmakers like Giuseppe Tornatore, Mira Nair and Wong Kar-Wai.
Much of your photography works are inspired by works of filmmakers like Wong Kar-Wai and Mira Nair.
My personal favorites would be Wong Kar-Wai's "In the Mood for Love" (2000) and more recently Mira Nair's "The Namesake" (2006). Their emphasis on using human expression to carry a scene through and to narrate a story is in a way very similar to how I tell a story with my photographs. Usually, I'll have a mental picture of the mood I'm trying to portray on the actual wedding day, So, there is a lot of "mental anticipation" that goes before the shoot. You'll notice that most of my wedding photography are presented with a hint of cinematic mood, something I call "cinematic voyeurism".
